Jersey's 1st Haircut

Jersey had her first haircut a few months ago and let me tell you, it was an adventure. You have to realize that I am constantly doing hair at my house and {J} is always seeing me put capes on people and doing this and that to their hair and she sees them sit on this amazing black chair (just my salon chair). {J} has had a love for this chair since she could crawl. So when I finally decided that it was time for a haircut, I thought she would LOVE to be like all of my other clients. So, I got all my stuff out: Cutting shears, spray bottle, round brush...and the dreaded blow dryer (I was going to give her a cute bow-out). Little did I know that she would fa-reak at the site of that thing. Apparently she is deathly afraid of my blow dryer. So she had a fit and did not want to sit in my fabulous chair and was bawlin big ol' tears. However, my ever-so-patient husband calmed her down ( i put the blow-dryer up and outta site) but she didn't want to sit in the chair. Instead we have her on this little tea set table chair where I had to sqat down to cut her hair. Awwww, these are the moments you will miss when they are all grown up...grin.
Well, other than that, the haircut went fabulous. Her hair is still growing in so many places and in the back she had these three long tails, so I evened up the back. Then in her bang area, she has so many lengths that giving her bangs was a must. Overall, it looked super cute after we were done. As you can see, this little gal gives me a run for my money. She is a wack-job, but we love her just the same.

Side note...{B} took all the pictures...what a little photographer in the making.

WOW...OUCH

So I just went exercising and can I say "WOW...OUCH". My muscles are very angry with me because they thought we were through with the whole work-out thing and then I go and pull them out of retirement. Needless to say, I will be hurtin in the morning but it is worth it because I am going to lose these last 15 pounds of baby weight if it's the last thing I do.

LOVE MY LEAVITTS

This picture is purely out of luck because we had those lip-whistles and I wanted a pic of Nathan and I (of course) for the blog (grin). HE wanted nothing to do with me but I made him and {B} snapped the picture just before he could take it out of his mouth.

We actually had a very relaxed family Valentines Day. We ended up going to go get Mesa "FRO-YO" and I know what you all are thinking, "Frozen yogurt in the dead of winter (dead of winter to all us natives), are you in insane?" However, I thought it was a splendid idea because we were going to the park and the sun was shining so I thought we would be fine basking in the sun while eatin our yogurt. Little did i know that a gi-normous cloud would be covering dear old Mr. Sunshine and we would be freezing our booties off while contemplating warming up in our car with the heaters turned on FULL BLAST!! Was that a run-on sentence? Anyway, we really did have super fun time at the park...once Mr. Sun decided to come out, grin. This is actually one of the first times that we, the Leavitt Family, have all gone out...together. It's just been kinda hard because of our small little babies and our busy schedules. However, Nathan and I have decided though that we need a little more "family" time and a little less "busy" time. It's hard though because it is so easy to get caught up in all the "stuff" that we have to do. Gosh, I am using a ton of "quotation" marks today. Well, I hope all of you had a fabulous Valentines Day and gave lots of love and was able to receive lots of love.

Nathan is quite the photographer. Especially when he has such a beautiful subject...gotta love {B}'s smile.

I just LOVE Ava...such a sweet and and easy-going child.

Now...our little Jersey girl looks like a sweet little angel, but what you don't see is this.....

...our little monster! Just kidding, she really is an angel...she just really likes to be a little devil too. This was when she had had enough pictures and when we told her it was time to go. Obviously she was "not happy Bob...not happy" (guess what movie).

I saw these lip whistles at the party place and just had to partake. They make really annoying sounds and look utterly luscious, how could I resist?

Trying to get all us gals to smile with our whistles..yea good luck with that one Ash.

Me and my girls all sliding down the slide. I'm surprised we even got this picture. Not too easy trying to get the younger two to smile at the same time.

Nathan, {J} and {B} eating our deliciously cold frozen yogurt.

We also got the girls little skittle hearts...I gave Jersey a few of hers and then totally downed the rest of the bag in like 5 minutes flat. What can I say, i am an absolute sucker for candy and I need help. Anyone know of a good 12 step program for sugar-aholics??

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!!

When I grow up I wanna be... A ROCKER!!

Baylee has been totally rockin out lately and I must say that she is quite good. We got Rock Band 2 and the XBOX 360 game Lips for Christmas so needless to say we have all been jammin from time to time. Seriously though, {B} is really good. She does songs on medium and gets in the 90% and above. I've asked her what she wants to be when she grows up and she replies smiling and answering very shyly "A Rocker-Girl". Dang...she is so flippin cute!
Daddy, {B} and Jersey all jammin to our favorite Rock Band song "Thats What You Get". Love Nathan's expression...back off girls...he's ALL mine (grin).

For School Career Day {B} wanted to dress up as a "Rocker" so I said "Here we come American Idol 2017". Now all she need is a nose ring and tattoos and we are all set. I'm not kidding people, she is way good...amazing tone and pitch...I'm a little jelous...grin.

Angel Ava

Ava is my sweet heart, my angel, my little slice of heaven. She is such a breath of fresh air that when she smiles, you just can't help but smile back. I knew immediatley after she was born that this little one was going to be so easy going...just like her daddy. Ava is such a good baby and I am just so flippin happy that she is in our family.

Looking Back-Baylee's 8th birthday and baptism.

Baylee had her baptism/birthday party at my mom's house in August. We seriously had a full day's worth of fun! Her baptism was at 10:00 and we had a party afterward. I am so proud of Baylee, she was so excited to get baptized and made the decision to do so all on her own. She was a little nervous, B sometimes doesn't like to be the center of attention. However, she was such a cute girl and a gracious host as well...grin. I just want to tell Bay that I just love her soooooo much. She is an incredible daughter any mother could ask for. I don't know what I would do without her. When B is at our house, she is my very best helper and loves her little sisters so much. Nathan and I know that Baylee is one of our biggest blessings in our lives and without her, our family would not be complete. Here are my top 10 Baylee-isms that some of you may not know:

1. I can pretty much aske her to do anything and she'll totally do it without griping...most of the time...grin
2. Even though she has her drama mama moments, Bay is one of THE most easy-going people I know (wonder who she gets that from...grin)
3. B is super smart and does an amazing job in school even though she is one of the youngest in her class.
4. B loves to draw and is quite good at it.
5. Baylee has the cutest giggle and I just can't get enough of it when she laughs.
6. When she gives kissies to her sisters she does this pucker with her lips (you have to see it) and just gives the sweetest kisses.
7. Baylee is a "daddy's girl" through and through. There is no one she would rather spend time with than with Nathan
8. B is a total girlly-girl, loves make-up, jewelry and all that fun stuff. However, she can tom-boy it out too with sports and yard and house work.
9. For an 8-year-old, she is more mature than some people my age. For example, when you say a word she doesn't know, she will say," I don't know what that means, tell me". most wouldn't really care.
10. Baylee has such a big heart. She loves her family, which is ginormous by the way, and will easily give hugs and kisses, especially to her sisters. I am so lucky to have a part in her life story

So....the party at my parents was super fun...I didn't get to eat at all because I was running around like a chicken with my head cut off. Most of you mom's know what I'm talking about when I say that when you host a party, the mom is doing EVERYTHING and making sure that EVERYTHING is running smoothly. But is was a blast none the less. Bay got a bazillion presents and was so sweet to give lots of love to the gift givers and was oh-so-patient with her cute cousins that wanted to "help" open her presents. B has always been fabulous with little kids, so patient, kind and really easy going. She is an amazing "big sis" to Jersey and Ava, they just love her to pieces and bits.
Well, we got a ton of pics of who all came to our shin dig and I know it's a little late, but I just wanted to say "thanks" again for all the peeps that came and helped with the food and the clean-up. I love you all and would have gone to the nut-house without ya.
Bay and her cousin Jada.
Nathan, Bay and I.
My mom, "Granny" and Baylee.
My mother-in-law, "nana" and B.
Nathan's dad, "Papa-Kelly" and Linda and Baylee.
Baylee blowing out her fairy cake.
Baylee opening up her presents...rock-on man.
Baylee with her cousins Indy and Iris.
Baylee with her aunt Kelsey, uncle Karl and Grandma and Grandpa.
Baylee with her great-granny (my mom's mom).
Baylee with her great grandma and grandpa.
My sister Lindsey and Kelly and thier crazy hoodlem kids.
Nathan and Bay before the big moment.

I LOVE STEPHENIE MEYER

OH MY FRICKIN-FRACKIN-FREAKIN HECK!!!! I just finished the last novel in the Twilight series, Breaking Dawn and let me tell you that it is amazing!!! I was so deliciously happy with the way that it ended that I actually cried. Stephenie Meyers has a fabulous talent for writing that can't help but leave you wanting more. When I got the book on Friday at midnight, i couldn't help but stay up until 6:30 in the morning reading and that was after I had to force myself to put the book down and get a little shut eye, I mean, i have two babies, gotta have a little bit of energy. That is how awesome this book is. I was a little worried in the beginning that she wouldn't be able to finish all that needed to be finished by the time the book ended. Of course, i should have known not to worry because in the end, Meyers knows what she is doing. AAAAHHHHHH, it was so fantastic. That is all I am going to say about the book for now because I don't want to spoil anything out there for anyone who still has not finished the book.
Now I was able to read this book in about 36 hours, which I was a little sad about because I wanted to read it all after midnight when I got the book on Friday...grin. I of course went to the Breakin Dawn party at Barnes and Nobles so i could get my copy right at midnight. I went with my fabulous friend Ally and my sister Kelly and mom. We met up later with my Aunt April and cousins Veronica and jessica. I had so much fun I think there was a perma-smile on my face all night long. That also might be due to the fact that this is one of my first breaks since having my precious Ava. Now i love my girls, but come on, every mom needs a break, and this one couldn't have been better. We started out the night going to Costa Vida (I had never been there before) and let me tell you that their pork salad is phenomenal. Then at 9, we went to the party....pure bliss. You will see in the pictures that we did all sorts of fun, Twilighty things...
Ally, Kelly and I at the fancy-shmancy cake.

Their were little stations all around the store where you could make and do cool Twilight stuff. We all made really rad bracelets...I know, sounds kinds dorky but you couldn't help but get caught up in the spirit of the moment...grin. If you look really close, you can see that mine says "Bite Me"...appropriate eh'?

We got some seriously cool puncture tats (not cheesy looking at all huh...grin)

The last hour was a little rough waiting in anticipation so we passed the time by re-reading some of the series. You can tell we are really into them...grin.

Passing the time with a little bit of photo fun.

I love my cousin Veronica, she is so hilarious and totally gets into things like me. As you can see, she also got swept up in the moment with her ultra chic mask. You don't understand, this girl is my Twilight Hero because 1)She had read all of the other books days before the fourth one came out, so she was all too ready for the trivia game they had there and kicked booty at it and 2)Ron also had her own trivia from online that we did while we were waiting and 3) She is so flipin funny...period.
My Auntie April and mummzy were total troopers. My mom cracks me up, while we were there she was checkin out the serial killer book club and totally wants to be a member, go figure. She loves murder mysteries and pretty much anything by Stephen King, need I say more.

I know. I am pretty silly. But these are precious moments in time that I do not want to forget...grin. i love that the check-out lady posed and smiled with the book with out me having to ask.

Could I be any happier?????

Finally, we waited for 3 1/2 hours and here we all are with our prize possessions.

Big Daddy

Big Daddy
Nathan is THE best father...he is super good with Baylee and Jersey. He is so easy going that I hope Jersey will get some of his personality...with a splash of mine of course...grin...but seriously, Nathan is fabulous. i can't bellieve that I get to spend the rest of my life with this man.

The Bjorklund Girls

The Bjorklund Girls
I love my sisters...they are my best friends.
